The Union revival services at the
Evangelical Church have been Rim­
pended for two weeks on account of ili e
continued stormy weather. Mr. and
Mrs. Van Marter expect to return and
continue the meetings which drew good
sized audiences, considering the weather.
Union prayer meeting will be held until
tlie evangelists* return as well as union
Sunday night services. All serviceswill
continue at the Evangelical Church.
Local pastors will preach on the follow­
ing two Sunday nights.

Mrs. H. Clark was removed to the
hospital Tuesday evening, where she
underwent an operation. She was re­
ported in a very serious condition Wed­
nesday evening.
Clifford LaMear and family are visit­
ing at the home of bis mother near Bell

The roads runuing north and south
in this community were practically
closed to all travel during the first few
days of the storm. It is almost impos­
sible to get a wagon through some of
the drifts and most of the hauling is
done on sleds.
It seems certain that the big Falls
City mill will reopen about March 1.

Oregon City paper mills are prepar­
