No one hurt, not even their feelings; there were no jar» only what was on the care; every one had lota to eat. Bull Run as a picnic resort is free from anything to break the rest and enjoyment sought. We understand all expense» were met in full, the car was filled, even crowded, but every one seemed to enjoy even being crowded* The young people made a spendid turn out. AU their play and fun (which was all day long) was clean, rollicking fun. Not one coarse or vulgar word or act to be seen or heard. It was beautiful. Everyone ha» beard of Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument in England which to almost as much of a puzxle as the sphinx In Egypt or the mounds erected by the mound builders in Amer ica. Stonehenge to about ten miles north of Salisbury. The name cornea from two Saxon words meaning "bang ing stones.” The earlier Celtic name was Cor Gawr. or giants' temple. There are In many localities In the northwest of Europe prehistoric remains In the form of huge stone monuments or "tumuli” or "barrows”—that is, bowl shaped mounds or hills of earth. In the neigh borhood of Stonehenge there are hun dreds of these mounds. Coins, etc., found in them seem to date them back about three centuries before Christ. It must have taken an Immense amount ot work to make them, and there must have been some profound and serious purpose behind them.— Pathfinder. How Beekworma Are Tracked.
