He had been a sufferer from a compli-1 cation of diseases, either ot which was enough to kill him. But it was not un til within the past week that he was told by his doctor that he could not re cover. He immediately began to ar range for the parting. Mr. Taylor was well known about: I>enta where he has lived for the past seven years. His cheerful disposition endeared him to all his acquaintances and he was honored by every one who knew him. The funeral will be held Friday at two o’cloak at Kenworthy’s, Rev. W. Boyd Moore officiating and the burial will be held at Multnomah cemetery. Friends are invited to the funeral. He leaves a wife and eeveral relatives, brothers and cousins, to cherish his memory and sustain the lose. The Ladiee' Aid Society of the I^nts Baptist Church held its annual meeting on the evening of March 18. The offi cers of last year were reelected, Mrs. M. K. Merrit being chosen president, Mrs. J. M. Nelson, vice president, and Mrs. Ella Moore, secretary-treasurer. The society reports »pending for all purpos es $113 80.
