ed occupational exemptions which will
be determined by the district board,
and unless registrant is placed in
the local board for Malheur county In
chargo of the classification of the men
drafted uncdr the Selective Service
Law, has passed on 355 cases out of
a total of about 1200 to be classified.

Beginning January 1, this store, by agree
ment with our competitor, will observe the re
quest of the Government of "Cash and Carry
Home." We will charge cash for everything
that goes out of the store, and there will be but
one delivery each day, by local draymen, hour
of which will be announced later.
- FoPthis delivery a uniform charge of 5c
will be made, which must be paid at the time of
purchase. This will apply to a bill of goods
amounting to $100 or to a pound of sausage, as
the cost of delivering one is nearly the same as
the other.
Our hours hereafter will be from 7 a. m.
to 6 p. m., every day except SaturdSy. On Sat
urday from 7 a. m. to 7 :30 p. m. and on Sunday
and all holidays from 8 to 10 in the mornings
and 5 to 6 afternoons.
