Dull who pleaded guilty to shooting his brother at Juntura last October. Be fore sentence was passed, Dal ton Biggs, who worked hard as counsel for the prisoner, made a plea to the court, stating that Dull had some moral ex cuse for his action. The shooting was the culmination of a family trouble. The brothers had made Borne business ' arrangements which seemed not to have been per fectly understood by both sides. The immediate occasion of the act was the attempt of the prisoner's brother to take a horse whfeh Joel claimed. As the former was saddling the animal the other ordered him to leave the horse In the stable. As this demand was re fused the man who is now a convict went into the house, brought out a rifle and fired into his brother's body. The wounded mnn narrowly escaped death, and is now suffering from par tial paralysis as a result of the wound. .40 36 15 4(5 . 8.00 .40 H.
