Mrs. Snyder of Falrbury, Nebr., left for her home Thursday after having spent tho past three months with her daughter Mrs. E. L. Brown. Janot Tomlin of North Payette, was tho guest of her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Tomlin last week. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lauer wero dinner guests Sunday ot their daughter, Mrs. C. Welchcjr. The Hallowe'en program and basket social given by tho pupils of Park school on Friday ovenlng was a decided success. Tho program which was given to a crowded house, -was greatly on Joyed. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bedsall were pleasantly surprised Thursday oven lng when about thirty of thoir friends gathered at their homo for a farewell, prior to their departuro for their old homo in Vlrglnia.whero Mr, Bodsall goes to caro for his aged father. After spondlng a pleas ant social ovonlng, delicious refresh ments wero served. The first meeting for tho year of Park Improvement club -was held Thursday aftornoon at tho home of Mrs. Bedsall, with Mrs. T. H, Car lco assisting. Mrs. Sullons had chargo of tho program for tho aftor noon and gayo a very interesting talk on the amendment to be voted on ot the coming election. At tho close of the afternoon dainty re freshments wero served by tho hos tess. Twenty members wero pres ent.
