OBITUARY
Ferninn Bradley died Wednesday,
May 10, 1922 at the home of his son
Charle.3, in Nyssa, after a sovere ill
ness of about 3 months. For nine
weeks he was unable to he down at
all being in bad dropsical condition
and suffering untold misery much of
ciio time.
Mr. uradloy was born Aug. 31,
1831 in Cambridge Ohio, thus boing
past 90 years of ago. Ho went to
California in 1850, later to Nevada,
then to Utah, where ho was married
to Miss Angelina Cram of Salt Lake
City in 1873. To this union were
born 12 children three of whom
survivo him.
With his wife he came to Oregon
in 1S80, being one year on the Mai1
hour and ono at Vale, after which
they came to Owyhee where they
have lived ever since, homesteading
on tho Owyhee rivor. Ho was a
sincere Christian, being a member
of tho Ontario Baptist church for
the past 19 years, and leaves a host
of friends and relatives to mourn
his loss, oven though rejoicing that
ho is now free from suffering.
Besides his wlfo, ho leaves ono
son, Charles, and two daughters,
Mrs. Mattlo Matheson of Emmett,
and Mrs. Margaret Pratt, also of
Emmett.
Funeral services were hold at
Owyhee school houso on Saturday,
May 13, by Rev. Blom of Ontario,
who paid a beautiful tribute to the
llfo of tho deceased. Intormont
was mado in the Owyhee cemetery.
Pall bearers were: Messrs. W. W.
Smith, John Reeco, T. M. Lowe,
Chas. Flshor, Gus Schweizer and H.
Ward.
Mrs. David E. Tufts and daugh
tor, Miss Margarot, arrived Tues
day for n fortnight's visit with her
daughters, Mrs. F. L. DeBord and
Mrs. Frod Kllngback and families.
Wm. Wolch of Big Bend, deputy
assessor, was paying official visits

A letter from Mrs. Evorolt Kygar
of Devils Slide, Utah, states that
they are tho parents of a 3 months
