On Tuesday evening the Carnation club held its regular weekly mooting at tho homo ot Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Van Petten, Proceeding the session at 600 the guests woro entertained at dinner. Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Powers will be tho hosfand hostess this evening for the gathering ot the Imperial club. The Fortnightly club meets this week with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan E, Oakes. Mrs. John H. Wood was the hos tess this week for the Tuesday bridge club. The Monday nrldgo club met this weok with Mrs. J. A. McFall. Mrs. L. It. Drelthaupt entertained with a Kensington at her homo on Wednesday afternoon. Following a custom Inaugurated last year the Music club held the first of Its evening gatherings Wednesday evening at which the husbands of the members, those who have them, and the men friends of those who have them not, were the guests of the club The meeting ws held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Dorman. The Girls Club posponed the Dec. Sth meeting which was to have been a Gym party at the High School on account of the Jubilee Singers. The December 18th meeting will be held at the Masonic Hall whore the Royal Neighbors will entertain and all girls are requested to bring a big apron Prepare for Just a neighborly party with some surprises. 8 o'clock.
