Agriculture, can bo relied upen:
2 tablospoonn cornstarch.
cup sugar.
1 cup boiling wnter.
4 tablespoons lemon Juice.
1 tablespoon buttor.
2 egg yolks.
Speck of salt (about 1-1C tea
spoon. Orated rind of half a lemon.
2 egg whites and
1 tnblespoonn sugar for meringue.
Mix tho cornstarch and sugar In n
nan co pan and stir In tho hot water.
Cook, stirring constantly, until It
thickens, and boll 5 mlnutcn, Add
butter, well Lenten yolks, salt, lem
on Juice, graded rind. Cook about
1 mluuto longer, Pour Into crust
previously baked. Cover with n
meringue mndo of tho egg whites'
beaten ntlff, then 2 tablespoons of
sugar; and brown In oven.
