Frederick Yoat proved the winner In the hlatory contest Friday after noon. Ktisaell Beers has built a new bird house of Juniper bark, for the school grounds. The school celebrated Washington's Birthday with a short program. IIKI I AH (By Pupils) Washington's, Lincoln's and Sw ell's birthday were observed by reading poems and storlea. Our attendance for the peat month would have been one hundrd per cent had It not been fur the absence of one pupil. The Bird Club held an Interesting out door meeting observing live sub jects. We wish to thank John, Dav id and Donald McDonald for the three nice bird houses they mad for the school. The pupils have been reading the Beulah Star every two weeka. The Alfalfa Height school wis closed for two days during the recent storm.
