strenuous election campaign. Gover
nor John M. Haines announced the ap
pointment of Warren Trultt, of Mo
cow, to be associate Justice of the
supreme court of Idaho, to succeed
Justice James F. Allshle, reslgued.
Mr. Trultt ha accepted the appoint
ment. Acting Chief Justice Isaac N. Sulli
van and Justice Trultt will have au
thority to select jointly a district
Judge of Idaho, to act with them as
associate Justice temporarily, In place
of Chief Juctlce Stewart, who la HI in
Portland.
Mr. Trultt. the new appointee, was
a candidate for nomination aa asso
