THE TURNER TRIBUNE The Turner Tribune SUBSCRIPTION $ 1 .1 ! P E R YEAR Entered at the Postoffioe at Turner, Oregon, as second-class matter, under the Act o f March 3, 1879. Issued every Thursday at Turner, Marion, County, Oregon. MRS. CHAS. S. CLARK CHAS. S. CLARK The Fable Of February Editors and Publishers their lot in life, is held out the per ennially comforting thought that there is alwuys room at the top! Ordinarily we take no exceptions to these highly lauduble methods o f keeping the all essential spurk o f hope alive in the human breast. We accept them as concomitant appendages o f ill fortune and let it go at that. But there is one pertinent question which insists upon protruding itself each time we hear the optimistic ballyhoo offered so plentifully since the recent spasm o f economic doldrums engulfed us. It is all right to keep telling us that prosperity is just around the corner. That is such good news that we’re glad to hear it We ha\e no quarrel V ith the fact thut prosperity is around the corner, but what we would like to know, inasmuch as it is mighty slow in making the turn, which corner? .V .V .V .S V .W A V A V A W .V .V Beginning ut a point 20.OS | ■%*■*■%VNVNSWuVNVNVW^S' chains north and 3.47 chains ea st,*“ o f the Southwest corner of the i IIAMMAN STA GE LINKS Alien J.
