Visits Daughter
Justice O f Peace
I.ast week there was a mistake
made in the blanket ad o f Harrison’s
store o f Turner. The ail read 36x80
blanket« at $3.19. The size o f the
blankets should have been 66x80. Mr.
Harrison said a blanket 36x80 wasn’t
big enough to cover a flea and we
quite agree with him, but laying all
jokes aside, those are real blankets
and the price is also real. Drop into
Harrison’s store in Turner and look
them over.
Christian Church
In agreement with the general
theme o f the convention Rev. Gilstrap

Good ^Victorious Fight.”
At the close o f the morning service

ward to take membership with the
church.
The whole attention in the church
and Sunday schoV just now seems
to be centered on Sunday, October 19.
This is their homecoming and rally
day. Plans were announced for spe
cial musical attractions and a big bas
ket dinner is being arranged for
noon. They announced their aim for
Sunday school attendance at 166 and
some predict 200.
Next Sunday is promotion day in
the Sunday school looking forward to
rally day. An increased attendance
is expected in each class.
