ninth centenary o f the coming o f
Christianity, together with the anni­
versary o f the death o f King Olav IL

tions will take place In ail parts o f
the country but the principal cere­
mony will be held at Trondjhem, an
old royal residence and the seat o f an
archbishopric before the Lutheran re­
formation. The work o f restoring tb *
cathedral ha* been proceeding for a
long time. Il was built on Olav's tomb.

cide with th- celebration of nine cen­
