Miss Dohse is spending her vacation
quietly at the school.
Miss Leader is rusticating at her home
in Troutdale, Oregon.
Mrs. Newcomb is rusticating quietly
at her home in Salem.
Mr. Swaboda and his family are at
the beach at Newport.
Miss Skipton is spending her vacation
with friends at Corvallis.
Miss Steponeck left for Newport beach
to spend her vacation there..
Mrs. Liphart is spending her vacation
on her farm near Chemawa.
Mr. John W'estley left with his family
for a short trip over land to the coast.
' Mr. Chas. H. Woods, our carpenter, is
enjoying his vacation at TilUmook Bay
and Newport.
When last heard from, Miss Grear was
at the Breakeie, enjoying her first dip in
the waters of the Pacific.
Mr. Teabo left with a party of five or
six boys over land fcr the coast, fishing
and hunting, thus to spend their vacation.
Mrs. Teabo is spending her. vacation
in the Sound country and will visit the
Yukon Exposition before returning to
Chemawa.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith are spending their
vacation in the Sound and at Hadlock,
Mr. Smith's home, and will spend some
time in Seattle.
Mr. and Mrs. Fickle are picking water
agates from the beach at Newport and
will then visit the Seattle Exposition
during their vacation.
Miss White spent part of her vacation
visiting the Yukon Exposition at Seattle
and says that the floral arrangements of
the. Fair are handsome.
Mr. Enright, being of a practical turn
of mind occupied part of his vaca
tion in improving his farm in Polk Coun
ty, for recreation going to Portland.
Mr. Mann spent a few days of his va
cation in the "Rose City."
