Mary Gibeau, who has gone home for
her vacation, is very much missed by

Belle Dillstrom is working in a hotel
at .Underwood, Wash., and is getting
along nicely. A. E.
Hannah Holiday made a flying trip
to Warm . Springs to-day. Hope she

Phyllis Fairfield has received some
pretty dresses from her mother and she

I am very anxious for the school to
open again, for I just hate to see all my

cards from her friends ststing that they

Many of the children are going home
to spend their vacation. We hope they
will all return whenthe school starts.

The Sunday afternoons are certainly
enjoyable when you sit out on the cool
lawn and the band is giving a conceit
at the time. M' L.
On Sunday afternoon Mr. Campbell
went out to visit one of the best hop
yards and brought a sample of the hops
back with him. I T,
Sallie Boswell, who has been working
in the sewing room for some lime, is
now working for Mrs. Campbell in Gus
sie Cameron's place. M. C.
Six of the McBride Flail girls, chap
eroned by Mrs. Rcyer, went to town on
Saturday and their report was that they
,had a very nice time. E. W.
Jennie England and Dora Luke are
the best dress makers in the little sew
ing room and Martha Decker, the fore
man, is very proud of them N. B.
The small girls sewing room is very
busy making sheets and pillow cases for
the school. They will have to make
1,000 sheets and 600 pillows cases. L.
