John Horn is working in the tailor

Ask Ella Brewer why she slacked in

Mrs. Newcomb received a letter from
Mrs. Brewer last Wednesday P. B.
Maudie Lowry and Esther Napoleon
were real early birds while in Woodburn.

Mrs. Theisz is very busy this week
preparing her building for commence

Next week the dining hall girls are
going to decorate the dining hall for

Mr?. Cooper is taking charge of the
large sewing room on account of Miss
Brown being sick. A. S.
The tailors are nearly through mak
ing the graduating suits. They, will be
finished this week.
Louise Moss says that she is a fine
cook in the hospital now, and does her
work neatly. G. B.
We are still going to school to learn
more from our books, and like the
studies very much. G. B.
Miss Troutman's girls will soon be
ready to move back into their building,
as they are now waxing the floors.
New carpets are being put down this
week at McBride Hall, in the sitting
room, music room and halls.-r-V. G.
George Howard led the fifth grade in
the final examinations. We all hope
George will lead the sixth grade next
year. F. M .
The fifth grade girls are sorry to hear
of Emma Shepard having, poison oak.
She missed her examinations during the
past week M. J.
William Mose is getting to be quite
a coat maker. He made Levi Sortor's
graduating suit. Just take a peep at it
and see what it looks like. E. F.
The girls of the Mandolin Club went
on a trip to Woodburn and returned
Tuesday morning, reporting a jolly good
time which Mrs. Theisz, Mr. Campbell
and Mr. Turney gave them.

George Williams is a good cartoonist.
George is self taught, but is doing very
good work. ."
Sara Brewer is the youngest pupil in
the graduating class, being only 13
years old. Clarence Lewis, the next
youngest, is 14 years old.
