Fortunato Jayme has graduated from the Capitol Business College and received a diploma. Fortunato Jayme is practicing type writing now and expects to finish this study in two months. Two new cornets, one baritone and a snare drum have just been received for the band from the Wurlitzer Music Co. The band will be much larger now as they have received several new instriir inents. The band is out drilling every morning. , Strawberries are very scarce this year on account of the late frosty weather. McCully, captain of A Company, expects to win the cup again this year in the competitive drill. Thomas was captain of Co B last year and won the cup. Mullings and Sam Wewa kalsomined the interior of Mr. Smith's office and painted all the wood work. The workers in the wagonshop are now making screens for the different buildings. Two large double screen doors were made for Supt. Chalcraft's cottage and the hospital building.
