Last Saturday at Eugene, Chemawa's
baseball nine crossed bats in two games
against the 'varsit' team, one game in
the forenoon and the other in the after
noon The morning game ended 6 to 5
in our favor. The afternoon score was 4
to 3 against us. Our boys were royally
treated and enjoyed their trip.

FROM SMALL BOYS' HOME.
Among Mr. Enright's best tailors are
boys who have entered the shop from
the Small Boys' Home.
Roy Wilson is reporter for the Small
Boy's Home. He will be glad to receive
items of interest for the paper.
Miss Frances Newcomb went to Port
land last Saturday and will visit with
friends during the Rose Carnival.
Mrs. Frye, from Salem, came down to
Chemawa to tee Roy and Firman Wil
son and took them to town to visit their
father last week
