week and the girls wsll start to work

Fred Bushman is getting to be a pretty
good baker. We hope he will stay with

The smaller boys of Brewer Hall are
seen every evening training for the
two coming field meets. J. B.
Mrs. Theisz was very busy the last few
days getting the exhibit work ready to
send to the Seattle fair. H. D.
The baseball team is arranging and
losing games right along, but they prom

The girls of the small girls' home like
to watch Miss Irene Campbell and her
father play on the tennis court. L. B.
Ellen Olney received a letter from her
mother, saying that she was coming to
pay Ellen and Grover a long visit this
summer.
The track team is busy training for
the field meet which we are soon to have.
I hope they will be in good shape on all

were successful in getting a few hand
drawn photographs of different students

Mamie Smith says that she wishes she
could be dining hall girl all the time
so she could be out in fresh the air early

Sarah Brewer, Bertha Spencer, Annie
Evans and Belle Dillstrom, went for a
long walk Sunday afternoon, chaperoned
by Miss Bender. N. S.
Last Saturday the ,Chemawa Indians
crossed bats with the Mt. Angel team
and were defeated 2 to 0. The game
was played at Mt. Angel. J. S.
Mr. Reads, one of Mr. Goudge's class
mates, took charge in chapel last Sunday
night. We alj enjoyed his talk very
much and we hope he will be with us
again soon. V, C.
Exhibit work was called for from the
different departments. So the tailoring
shop is now in full blast, turning out
coats and trousers and draftings for the
same to be cut out by the tailor appren
tices. The feature of the exhibit will
be the woman's "trying on jacket,"
which has some of Alex Oajete'e bast
ing thread to show what Chemawa tail
