. Alvina Smith. is working in the dining
hall and she does her work fine.
The Junior class intends to hold a
class meeting in the near future.
John Darnell likes to play the har
monica in the small boys' home.
Joe'Sinpson is making Hugh Jackson
a very good pair of peg top trousers
Mrs. Campbell gave a very interesting
talk Tuesday morning in the chapel.
Willie Mose expectsto follow7 his trade
as a tailor when he leaves this school.
Mr. Burdette and his crew are still
blasting stumps across therailrood track.
Lesty Brown is working in the Laun
dry and she does her work very nicely.
The carpenters put new steps in place
of the old ones at the commissary ' this
week.
Lizzie Dahl h now working for Mrs.
Campbell and "she says she likes to work
there.
Martha Andy is now working in the
sewing room and she does her work
nicely.
Ella McCully is now working in Mrs.
Pickle's sewing room and she does her
work very nicely.
Cyril Morrisette is firing in the power
house-this week; his wood haulers ave
Manuel Swanson and Brown Jones.
Fred Bain says he will soon make the
sparks fly in the blacksmith shop. He
think.-, he'll be able to work next week.
The tailors were defeated in a basket
ball game. Monday evening, the score
being 22 to 20 in favor the Brewer Hall
boys.
The larger boys will, soon have the
, pleasure of moving into their comfort
able quarters in Mitchell Hall. The
rooms are beginning to look quite cosy.
The Silverton boys and girls played
a fine game last Saturday evening with
our boys and girls. We all hope when
our girls go to Silverton they will win.
WHY NOT?
Why doesn't the executive board in
troduce a rule providing for the proper
appearance of a basketball team in our
school league? Such as, for instance,
that every team must be dressed alike.
No boy will be allowed on the floor to
play with a team without stockings to
cover the leg from foot to knee.
No boy will be allowed on the floor
with trunks shorter thin knee length.
No boy will be allowed cn the floor
unless costumed in the proper costume
of his team.
