PUPILS' ITEMS.
We are all bnsy with our examinations
this week.
We all enjoyed the Christmas social
last week.
Wilbur Martin has entered the black
Finith shop.
Mr. McGill is visiting his daughters,
Iris and Mary.
Mr. Luke is here now, visiting Jennie
and Dora Luke.
Everybody enjoyed their holiday
vacation last week.
Joe and Willie Gal received a fine
Christmas box from home.
Peter John and Her.ry Evans are late
additions to the kitchen force.
We all enjoyed the band concert'
which Mr. Larsen gave us last Saturday,
We had very a nice Christmas. We
were very glad to have a week's vaca
tion. John Shakley is firing in the engineer;
ing department this week in .the after
noons. . '
Lubova Siftsoff is expecting to take
music lesson soon as she hears from her
father.
Last Sunday a number of girls went
out walking. They enjoyed vhe walk,
very much.
Martha Decker is one of .Mrs. Coop
er's beet bread makers in the deniostic
science department.
Christine Victor is doing fine in her
niuic lessons. She says she is going to
be a good musician.
David Graham was running the tinall
engine in Francis Kahuna's place on
Thursday afternoon.
Myrtle Wilson is now working in the
domestic science department and is get
ting along very nicely.
The Estelle Reel Literary Society met
as usual Thursday evening. The girls
gave a good program.
We all had a good time last Christmas
Eve, Dec. 24, and we also had a good
Christmas dinner, Dec. 25.'
The big engine was out of order one
day this week and was repaired by' Mr.
Van Tassel and Cyril Morrispfte.
We were sorry to see Adaline Lott
leave for her home last week, but we all
hope that she will improve in her health.
Mrs. Harris intends to go away soon.
We are all sorry to see her go, but hope
she will have a pleasent trip on her way
home.
The girls' basketball teams commenc
ed practicing in the new gymnasium
this week for the game which is to take
place on Saturday.
In a recent letter from Abel Grant he
states that he is now married, his wife
being a Carlisle student. He also states
that he is looking after the interest of
his people at Lapwai, Idaho.
Miss Browrn's sewing-room girls are
doing nicely since the long holiuays
which we had. Since then the girls have
hurried to get things out of the 'way,v
and will start on new dresses about next
week. '
