-CUTTING TABLE CLIPPINGS. .
The tailor shop is pleased to report a
continued activity in ali its departments,
the alteration department being very
busy owing to the large number of new
students appearing for fittings. in school
and uniform clothing. This condition
affords us a splendid opportunity of devel-'
oping our talent in the altering of ill-fitting
garments, a branch of the tailoring
industry that is a very important one
for the reason, that when a garment is
wrong in its fitting quality, it requires
the best care and workmanship to correct
the little faults.
Anybody can make a mistake, but to
know the mistake and then to correct it
is to show a disposition to excel, and it
is only a question of time when a boy
who adopts this rule to work or to live
by will succeed in whatever he may
undertake. ,
The tailor shop is very proud of the
football squad, and well we may be, for
tbe tailor shop is represented by one of
our clever trouser makers, and the tailor
shop wishes to say that if he can play
ball one-half as well as he can tailor
then our physical director has a world
beater.
Mr. Moran's method of explaining the
workings of his department through the
help of his apprentices is both new and
pleasing and wre trust that we may have
more and more of such instructive and
pleasant evenings during the present
school year and hope to see other depart
ments follow in the footsteps of Mr.
Moran and his bright and clever assist
ants. The Tailor Shop.
