Brevities
Miss Earlougher was in Salem Wed
nesday. Several car loads of supplies were
received this week.
Miss Hutchinson made a flying trip to
Portland on Monday.
Mr. Watkins returned Tuesday evening
from his vacation trip.
Alex Cajete is busy in the tailor shop
making overalls for several of the large
boys.
Mrs. Bewjey and Mrs. Gordon put up
13 gallons of prune butter for the mess
this week. '
Miss Koester made a flying trip to Sa
lem to do some shopping Thursday
morning,
Mrs, Harry E. Mann returned last
week from Klamath Agency, where she
has been visiting with relatives.
Mr. Smith has recently purchased a
new Rambler which has enabled him to
make flying visits to'the boys' hop camps.
Miss Dohse is doing excellent work in
Brewer Hail in spite of the scarcity of
help during the busy season of hop
packing and prune drying.
Miss Irene Campbell returned home
Wednesday afternoon from the Multno
mah Tennis Tournament and was the
happy possessor of a cup as the result of
her playing.
