. CUTTING TABLE CLIPPINGS
The tail or shop is pleased to repor t
that the suits for the boys in the grad
uating class are ready for delivery.
This undertaking was easier this year
than last owing to: the better ability of
the young apprentices:
As the cutting of a large part of the
work was done by student apprentices,5
and all the-garment making; it argues
well for the future of these promising
young men; ; ; .
The tailor shop regrets r, that it m not
represented in the graduating class this
year, but hopes to furnish; a-full quota
next year in, the persons of Alex Cajete
and'Leon Reinkin arid the tailor shop
makes no mistakes when it declares that
they cannot fail in ' their efforts in civil
life. Their preparations now is and will
be such as knows no-failure.
This season of Commencement carries
us back to just one year - ago when the
tailor, shop was represented in the grad
uacing class byPhilip Sorahan, and who
a few days after school closed obtained a
position with Geo. W. Johnson, of Salem,
to take charge of the tailoring interests
of that prominent clothing and furnish
ing house. Today this young ex-student
of Chemawa is still in the same
position and his employer is very well
satisfied with his efforts. . " .
We point with pride to what should
be the record of every boy who is entitl
ed to partake of the splendid' industrial
training to be had at the : Chemawa In
