OUR GRADUATES
This year Chemavva will send from her
fold eleven graduates. Those who have
had charge of them during their literary
and industrial life at Chemavva put the
stamp of approval upon what they have
accomplished and within a couple of
weeks Will see them added to the alumni
of the Salem Indian School.
To the graduates we will say. that you
are now entering upon a new life, a plain
of battle, so to speak, where, all of your
courage and fortitude will be needed. In
human life, as in everything else, that
which is fittest will survive and succeed.
Prove your right to both survive and
succeed by resolving that you will. Let
no obstacle he too great for you to sur
mount. Remember that what others
less fit than you have accomplished is.
possible for you.
Another thing which is worthy a place
in your minds is the fact that during
your life in Chemavva you have made
lasting friendships among employes and
students. Many have an abiding faith
in you and desire that you so conduct
yourselves that they will be justified in the
pride they feel in your friendship. Do
not fail them.
