INDUSTRIAL NOTES
Chas. Stensgar started working in the
slioe shop last week.
Martin Sampson made a double-tree
for one of the farm wagons Wednesday.
Harry Queachpalma is taking charge
of the boys who are picking strawberries.
The engineers tore a wall out about 9
feet square to put in a switch board last
Tuesday.
The farmers were cutting the vetch
last Tuesday, which is to be cut and us
ed for silage.
Henry Olson and Fred Bain painted
the roof of the woodshed on Tuesday
and Wednesday.
Harry Jones and Cyril Morisette fixed
the faucets in the wash room in Brewer
Hall last Wednesday morning.
Jas. Benjamin has been cutting the
grass around the edge of the sidewalk
in front of the office' this week.
Davis Miller is fireman in the forenoon
this week and Tom Davis is his wood
hauler, while Aurelius Talbot is running
the engine.
An electric light pole is being moved
several feet for the convenient attach
ment of the electric wires near the
engineering department.
The blacksmiths are going over all the
machinery on the place ahd fixing up
the parts which are out of order and
making new parts for the broken ones.
Robert Sampson is no,v working in the
blacksmith shop. The blacksmiths are
glad to have him as he promises to be a

With only a few days. before the finish
of the series it is certain that the Tigers
have a lead that cannot be overcome;
but for second place there is a hard tus
sle between the Tyees and Unions and
unless the Black Cats break the hoodoo
that has been hanging over them they
will have to be content to remain in the
cellar. For the last game we have ar
ranged for an exhibition game between
the winners and the best nien from the
other three teams.
The whitewash crew, the painters and
the cement gang are to be given a party
in the auditorium tonight.
