M ANDOLIN CLUB PARTY.
Saturday evening the Giris' Mandolin
Club gave a party in the Auditorium.
The invited guests were employe and
student friends and numbered about
forty. About half after seven o'clock
they commenced to congregate at the
Auditorium and shortly after there was
evidence of merriment on every hand.
There was no set program for the
evening, everything being to a certain
extent impromptu. Mrs. Cox, who acted
as chaperon for the girls, favored those
present with a splendid elocutionary
number. The Mandolin Club played
several selections, and there were games
played by way of entertainment.
Before the hour for departure most
delicious refreshments were served and
were partaken of to the accompaniment
of a hum of conversation and merry
making At the dose of a memorable
evening all departed for their quarters
declaring the Mandolin Club girls
admirable hostesses.
