The main walk in Chemawa has been
called "Rose Avenue" for a number of

our walks Rose Avenue Rose Avenue
No. 1, Rose Avenue No. 2, etc. There is
a beautiful Avenue of roses leading from
the old hospital to the main walk, another
.beautiful one leading to Mr. Campbell's
house, another one down to Mitchell
Hall; in fact the whole place is a Rose
bower with avenues of roses everywhere.
