Jeanette Aubrey is one of the young
est and best pupils in Mr. Fickle's class.
The entertainment given by the Ex
celsior Literary Society was very much
enjoyed by the students and visitors. . ?
The pupils of the sixth grade are now
working division of decimals. We will
soon be ready to" take up denominate
numbers. : '
The order of the pupils in chapel is i&

until the time of dismissal. :
The boys and girls have very milch
improved in their marching tff and from
school and from chapel. The order in
the school building is perfect.
The work in the Normal department,
is very, much enjoyed by the mem hers
of the J u n ib r and Senior classes who
have been detailed there by Mrs. Camp-V

The pupils of tlie sixth normal grade
were verv sorrv to see the girls of ' the
senior class turn in teaching come to an
end so soon, and are in hopes they -will
soon-be our teachers again. - The Senior
boys; though are teaching us in an excel-
lent -manner;. ;
The entertainment, given . by the. Ex
celsior literiry society r.ti nly ...vya ; -t an
an enjoyable one, and the assembly hall
was crowded. We had many visitors,
who, we hope, were much pleased with
the entertainment. Thisshows the hard
study on the part of the students and of
the employes who are working faithfully,
to the best of their ability.

the five-mile race on Saturday.
