CHEMAWA vs. O. A. C.
The two games played with O. A. C.
on the 10th and 11th broke even. Che
mawa captured the first game by the
score of 4 to -3 while the OA. C: boys
won the second bv the score of 8 to 2.
Both teams were evenly matched, and
played good ball throughout. Chemawa
was a little crippled in the second game
on account of the absence of Merl Poland,
who had to go to play with Woodburn.
In the second game Casey pitched a
good game. Chemawa will play a re
turned game at Corvallis. Following is
the line up:

after many a cheery goodnight.
NONPAREIL
The Nonpareil Literary Society held
their last meeting for this school term
Tuesday evening and although we did
not prove very successful in the serial
debates we are, as yet, enthusiastic in all
our undertakings. As is always the
case with such organizations in the out
side world, certain members were proved
somwhat backward, but through the
efforts of some of the leading members
