played some very enjoyable music in the

Thomas Spedis, after being ill in the
hospital recently, has recovered, and is
able to continue his studies and shop

We, dress makers are . busy making
gingham dresses for the McBride Hall
nrls, and after we finished them we will
make dresses for all the other girls in

A letter was received from Zephyr
Gardepi saying that he is coming down
to visit Chemawa next month, and we
will all be glad to see Zephyr, as he is
one of our ex-pupils. M.J.

Mr. Chalciaft, Mr. Swartz and a detail
of boys are now fixing a 220-yd straight
away track for the use .of the short
distance sprinters. D. G.
There was a baseball game played
last Saturday afternoon between two
pick up teams. Both sides played old
league games, the game ending with
score of 2 to 1. W. W.
Walter Haight, the five-mile runner,
stated this year that he will lower his
last year's record. The other day for
the first try out this year over the
muddy roads he lowered his record to
28 minutes. Haight is in excellent con
