Hazel Picard is now working in the
sewing room. A. P.
Christina Boswell is now working in
the (lining hall. J. J.
The painters have painted two wagons
this Week and are .now ready to stripe
them.
John Smikes who was Janitor for
some time is now working on the garden
detail.
The painters will soon be painting
the roofs of the different buildings.

The plumbers and engineers fixed up
the steam and water pipes at the laundry
last week.
Miss Brown has the spring uniforms
well under way and the girls are getting
along nicely.
Matilda John made some very nice
biscuits in the Domestic, Science last
week. V. C.
Grover Colby is now busy preparing
tlie porch and steps at the boys' gym
nasium. Robert Gregory who was working in the
power house is going to work in the tail
or shop. J. M.
Annie Evans made some nice potato
soup in the Domestic j Science Monday
morning. M. C.
The dress makers are making sheets
and pijlow cases in the large- girls sew
ing room. B. S.
The repair boys in the engineering
department are painting :he boiler fronts
and the pumps, which makes the shop
look clean. M. S:
The harnessmakers are sorry because
Mr. Farrow is going to leave Chemawa.
Maggie Wynaeo ; is making herself a
pretty pink dress for Easter. R. S.
Mrs. Thiesz and her floor girls are out
making flower gardens all the spare time
they have. H. D.
Mike Telkia says he likes to work in
the baker shop and he likes Mr. Teabo
as an instructor, W. K.
hlma Eades made some very nice
little cookies m the domestic science and
they were very nice. J.J.
A variety of things arc1 being made in
the sewing room and Tiss Brown seems
to be pleased with her girls.
Andrew Bettles is making a suit of
clothes in the tailor shop for himself
and his work is very neat. L. R.
Walter Haight has resumed his old
position at the carpenter's bench with
the determination of excelling all who
are before him.
The blacksm iths say that they have
the painters "a moving how" painting
wagons which are turned over to them
by the blacksmiths. v
Alex Covington and Harvey Ashue
fixed the doors, slats, windows, etc., in
the Laundry, which the ladies of that
department greatly appreciated.
The blacksmiths are busy making
' wTagons. The will work in the wagon
shop for two weeks and then two weeks
in the blacksmith shop and then re
turn to the wagon shop.
The blacksmiths who have been in
the wagon shop for the last two weeks
are now back in the blacksmith shop
and they all seem to enjoy working
under Mr. Henschell, our new wagon-maker.
