Antoine Valley is working in the
garden and he likes ids work very well.
Plumbers are manufacturing pipes
and making nipples to tit any kind of

George Foster is working on the gar
den detail and he savs he likes his work
very well.
Mr. Swartz said the farmers are now
through with their hard work down at
the lower farm. ,
Mr. Mann was surprised to find a wa
gon completed last Monday, morning
and ready to iron.
The blacksmiths have coal m the
shop now so they do not have to work
outside any more.
Louise Murray is beginning to make
her summer clothes. Saturday she
made herself a very pretty waist.
Thomas Spedis, who has been working
in the blacksmith shop, is now working
in the wagon shop and is doing well
Harrv Covington is now working; in
the carpenter shop, and he is doing very
well. He is going to be a good carpenter.
Since the bovs take care of the lawns
they look nice and green and we hope
that they will look nice all the time.
The sewing room girls worked verv fast
on the work dresses last week. They
made 48 dresses and are trying hard to
make 48 more this week.
James Minesinger is repairing the en
gine this week We have to run the
big engine during the day and' night un
til the little engine is fixed.
Eugene Williams is painting the
wood work in the kitchen and is doing
fine work. Eugene is a good painter,
able to earn a good living at his trade
when he leaves Chemawa.
We have now a new wagon maker
and the wagon shop is in good order.

weeks turn about working in the wagon
and blacksmith shops, and by the way
things appear at present it seems as if
there will be many wagons turned out.
CHE-IN-TRA PARTY
The Che-In-Tra Society gave a party
in the chapel Monday evening. It was
a very enjoyable nature and pleased the
large crowd in. attendance. The follow
