We all hope to see the' Che-In-Tra,
Club appear again.
Addie Cameron and Christina Lane
are excellent dressmakers.
Louise Thornton is getting to he quite
a nurse since she is at the new hospital.
We were very much pleased with, the
entertainment given Monday evening.
Martin Cooper is back in the harness
shop after a short illness in the hospital.
T he girls and boys i n the th ird grad e
had a nice lesson about General Putnam.
Julia Hoyt says she likes to work in
the new hospital because it is fresh and
clean.
Mrs: Bewley was absent one day last
week. Ida Johnson took her place at
the mess;

iviattie Ziim merman received a very
nice book from one of her friends for a
birthday present.
Last Sunday evening there were forty-
three buys and forty-eight girls present
at the Bible Class.
Bessie Clark is working in the sewing
'oom and she is trvinp verv hard to
)ecome a dressmaker.
Mattie Zimmerman is now working in

We are all looking foward to the
leliance Literarv Societv.
We have now a new baker. His
arae i Peter LaMoose. We expect
lat he will make a good baker.
All the nurses say they are glad they
have moved to the new hospital because
the work will be much easier.
The weather is changeable, so be care
ful boys and girls and wrap up for this
weather is liable to make one sick.
The sewing room girls are all anxious
to get through with the work dresses, so
they can begin on the summer uniforms.
Wm. Watkins is now practicing how to
write in a business form. He says that
he will be a good penman before the
vear is over.
Mrs. Campbell told the seventh grade
some of her experiences in tne Wind
River mountains in Wyoming.- She
often tells interesting things.
M rs May field, who was visiting her
sister, Mrs Chalcraft, here last week,
said t : that she doesn't think there is
another school as pretty a Chemawa.
The McBtide Hall girls have organ
ized a new club and they expect to give
an entertainment in a short time, which
will be the besc ever given at Chemawa
we hope.

We are glad to see Joaquin Meadows
and Antoine Francis back in school
again.
The fourth grade had a very interest
ing lesson on birds one afternoon this
week.
We are studying hard for our final
examinations, at which we all hope to
make good.
We were glad to see George Wilson
and Benny Wilcox promoted to the
fourth grade.
Mike Telkia has drawn some beautiful
pictures and sent some of them to his
friends in the east.
