That Chemawa students are: proud of
their school was proved on the anniver
sary of her birth, Tuesday evening. The
students gave ample proof of their loy
alty, sincerity of purpose, and appre
ciation of the school. This is gratifying
to those who are laboring in their behalf.
Chemawa is now entering the 99th
year of her existence. Oaks grow from
acorns and little beginnings have big
endings. This certainly is true regard
ing this great institution. Chemawa
has grown strong and mighty in her
educational and industrial life. In
rearing and educating Indian boys and
girls she ha proved her worth and can
point with pride to many great achieve
ments. Brevities

NESIKA CLUB PARTY
Last Friday evening the Nesika Club
gave their party in the Auditorium, It
was the object of the club to give the
best party of the season.
The Auditorium was well decorated
with evergreens, Nesika pictures, pen
nants and other beautiful designs in
Nesika colors.
Table games were played until it was
time for supper.
It is safe to say that nearly all enjoy
ed the party as well as the refreshments,
The eatables to be had were sandwiches,
cake, oranges, bananas, ice cream, cocoa,
candies and nuts. Supper being over at
a very late hour, it was necessary to hurry
home. The Nesika Club is apt to be heard
from again, but not as giving a party.
