Mattie Hayden is working in the sew
ing room and she likes Miss Brown as
an instructor.
Violet Edwards is working in both the
hospital drug-room and ward. Violet is
a good Worker.
Mike Campbell, a young man from
Desmet, Idaho; returned home to his
parents Monday.

The shoemakers are busy repairing

A letter has been received from Ellen
Kinley stating t hat : she is to be married
the first of February .
Miss Rover took a few girls out for; a
pleasant ;walk last Sunday. They en
joyed the sunshine'very rnucb.
We all enjoyed the lessons which our
teacher, Mrs.; Chalcraft,' gave u.-? especi
ally in our reading and arithmetic.
Sarah Matthews is now working in the
laundry a nd f she- says she en j y s w o r k i n g
there because M rs AVoodw is so nice.
Mrs. Bewley was absent one day last'
week on account of -her sister being ill in
Salem. She went to take care of her.
Laura Harnden knows many pretty
new songs, which we enjoy to hear her
sing to us-in the evenings. She has a
verv nice voice.
