Jerry Reece likes to work at the office.
Maggie Wynaco is working in the
sewing room.
The third grade keep their schoolroom
very neat and clean.
There are 38 boys and girls in room
No. 3 in the mornings.
The third grade had their examina
tion last Wednesday.
El wood Tonner jigged for Mrs. Lip
hart and she gave him an apple.
Julia Walker is now working in the
laundry and does her work neatly.
James Moses is working on the garden
detail and he likes his work very well.
The industrial boys were all; glad to
see Robert Stensgar out of the hospital.
rJ he carpenter boys are busy this week
putting windows in the printing office.
We are all sorry that Joe Lane is sick
and we hope to see him well before long.
Howell Breeden is working in the
kitchen. He says he likes his work well.
Alice McPherson is now working in
the sewing room and does her work
nicely.
Emma Shepard is now making herself ,
a pretty dress. She will soon have it
finished.
The fifth grade pupils are very glad
to have James Olney back to school with
them again.
" Harriet Dick worked in the sewingroom
for four months and, she can make nice
dresses now.
It is almost time for the long distance
runners to train. Get busy boys, we
must keep the championship of the Pacific
Coast.
Millie Friedlander got a pretty bead
ed belt from her sister. Millie is proud
of the belt.
Edward McCoy is here on a visit and
says he would like to stay here all the
time if he could.
Leo Barnaby, who came during
Christmas vacation, is now working in
the harness shop.
Ralph Allen will begin to work in the
plumber shop next week. He has quit
the engineering department. :
Neta Jones is now working in the
laundry, but soon will be back in the
sewing room with Miss Skipton.
Laura Harnden is getting to be a very
good cook since she has been working in
the Domestic Science department.
We are all glad to hear that Peter
Seymour is coming back to school. He
is one of our best five-mile runners.
Louis James is making sidewalk sfc rid
and he says he likes his work well,
and Mr. Cooper says Louis is a hard
working boy.
Dora Aubrey, Maggie Goss and Geo.
Goss, new pupils from Browning, Mont.,
have arrived at the school. We were
pleased to welcome them.
Dora Aubrey and Maggie Goss, the
new girls that just arrived last Thurs
day, are working in the sewing room and
we hope they will like their work.
Frank Dan is practicing hard for this
year's relay races. We all hope he will
be superior this year tov what he was last
year. He has the will power andenergy.
Why did the boys and girls keep their
feet moving when a familiar air was
being played on the phonograph last
Monday evening? Very bad manners.
