Schuyler Colfax of Nea'h Bay, "Wash., 4
has ordered a set of harness to be
made at the school and shipped to him.
The boys who took up harness making
are as follows: 53AntoineFraricis, Harry
Covington, Edward, Stanger, George
Flett, Martin Cooper, Leo Barnaby, and
Alphonso Guay. .
Mr. ; Hulden is making rods for the
electrio lights dnd Martin Hartless is .
painting them as they are finished.
We are pleased to report a favorable
progress in all things, particularly in
the designing class. The "Santa Claus
costumes" were handled entirely by a
student, and the manner in which Geo.
Williams can preside at a cutting table
when; drafting a- pairfof trousers and
perform the work istboth creditable and
encouraging to his shop associates.
The tailor shop unites in a vote of
thanks to the football boys .for winning
the football game with the Spokane A.
A. Club.
Frank Peters. does some repairing in
the carpenter shop; anything that comes
in the shop, such as doors, window
frames, etc. . He" and Eddie Curl are
doing well. I ,

the school and friends last week.
Bessie Chiloquin spent her Christmas
holidays at Lebanon,. Ore. with Rev. L:
J. Beaty and.family. She says she had
a very pleasant time 'while - she w a.
there.
Father Datin was -here on Sunday
accomainied by his neice. Father also
( held Xmas mass on Xmas morning.
; Evelyn McCoy's mother, who came to
see her daughter, Rachel McCoy, will
stay until RacheLimproves from her ill
- ness.

We extend our thanks to Mrs. Mav
field of Seattle, for the pictures she sent
to MeBride Hail, Small Girls' Home,
Boys' Rending Room, and Small Boys'
Home.
In a letter from Mr. Hilb we notice
that he has entered the Indian Service,
being located in the -war department, as
wagon maker , : a t Whipple Barracks,
Arizona. Mr. Hilb's irienos will be
glad to know of his present location,
and his friends here wish him success
in the war department.
On last Saturday the school enjoyed a
delightful entertainment given by the
" Uohemian Student's String Quintette",
