Chenrawa vs. Albany A. C.
In spite of the inclement weather a
large number of citizens waded out thru
the mire to the Rambler park gridiron
this afternoon where the Chemawa
Braves are battling with the strong Al
bany Athletic club's football team. The
Indians arrived this noon accompanied
by a number of rooters and expected to
win the game by two touchdowns accord
ing to the statement of one the players.
The locals, however, expect to win the
game, and with a much stronger lineup
than at any time before this season will
undoubtedly give the redskins a good
time.
The Indians' lineup today is much
stronger than at any other game they
have played this year, and with power
ful Rube Saunders at fullback and
Whitebear at left tackle, will put up a
bard game. The teams lined up at 3:15
o'clock this aftornoow as follows:

The game was played in mud and
water. No trick plays but straight foot
ball. Final score 6 to 0 in Chemawa's
favor.
The Y. M. C. A. of Chemawa organiz
ed two basketball teams and are going
to try out for the first team next Satur
day. Our football team has a number of
good games scheduled and we wish them
success as they have already won three
out of four games played. v
Dartmouth College defeated Harvard
22 -- 0. Carlisle's score with Harvard
was 23 15 and Carlisle won again from
Minnesota 12 -- 10.

show after Thanksgiving.
Our Third Football team defeated the
Salem High School second team on Wed
nesday afternoon b) a score of 33 to 0.
Three touchdowns were made in the first
half and three in the second. At no
time during the game did Salem make
her yardage and on the other hand,, at
nr. time did Chemaw.i fail to make her
yardage. Several quarterback kicks and
forward passes were made successfully
every' time except once Calvin Darnell
played a very heady, game at quarter
back and the individual play of the boys
was all. good. The lineup was as follow:
