The emploves, and mess building was
repainted, white this week and it looks
like a new building. All the- climbing
rose bushes were pulled down until the
painting finished, but they seemed to
suffer no injury at all.
Three of the printers are at the Rose
Fiesta in Portland playing in the band
today, one is near Turner Camping with
the Salem Y. M. C. A. boys and another
is at Gearhart attending the Y. M. C. A.

J3ome one's clean clothes were confis
cated on Sunday morning from the line
back of Mc.Bride Hall, and the owner
vvill have to call at the office to redeem
them. Do not forget that an order was
issued spmetime ago that no washing is
to be left on the lines on Sunday.
