CHEMAWA WINS AGAIN.
Voodburn Second Team Clearly Out
classed by Ball Players of
Indian. School. .
The Chemawa second team yesterday
defeated theW oodburn seconds in a one
sided gane of baseball by a score of 11
to 1. The game which was played on
t eChen awa diamond was stopped inthe
middle of the sixth inning on account of
rain. Chemawa outclassed Wood burn at
every stage of the game and won out
easily. Washoe, for Chemawa, pitched
a faultless game and was well supported
by the balance of the team.

CHEAMWA WINS IN FAST
GAME OF BALL,
SALEM HIGH SC dOOL T CAM GOES
DOWN TO DEFEAT BY SCORE
OF TWO TO ONE
The fastest game of baseball played
upon the Chemawa diamond this season
was that pulled off BViday afternoon
when the Indian' students defeated the
Salem high school by a score of 2 td 1 in
one hour and 2'Z minutes. l4 The gjame
was fast and interesting from the start
and afforded splendid amusement for
the large crowd of spectators, among
whom were about forty ball enthusiasts
from this city. The feature of the game
was the sensational steals by Sortor
andTeaboof Chemawa in running bases.
The game was umpited by Ralph Rader
of Willamette university.
Saturday afternoon the Chemawa team
cross bats with the Woodburn nine.
