Ida Johnson is working in the mess.
The carpenters are busy making hur
dles for the field meet.
Nellie Bos well is now working in the
sewing room and is getting along nicely.
Miss Brown is very nice to the girls .
in helping them with their private se wing.
Maxime Barriaby" is working on a set
hack harness - and 4s doing -good-work.
Eddie Burner is getting to be a scien
tific farmer. He is next to Mr Swartz.
The sewing room girls are busy mak
ing gingham dresses for the small girls.
Mr. Westly and his boys will be thru
planting fourteen acres of land in potatoes
this week. "'
David Penny has entered the black
smith shop and U doing nicely for a
beginner.
Irene Peone is now working for M;s.
Campbell and she says she likes it
well. D. 1).
Thomas Williams and Simon Ai tit
hews are getting to Le good workmen in
the blacksmith shop.
The gardeners are planting potatoes
in the northwestern part of the field
which belongs to them.
The ' seventh and eighth grades are
working in Domestic science this week.
They will work there for two weeks.
We are all sorry to have the detail
changed as it is more comfortable to go .

Neta Jones is working for Mrs. Cox
again and she does her work very neatly,
Mrs. Cox is very proud' of littl Neta.
puptes' Teems
The Excelsior Literary Society is to
have a public debate with its own mem
bers for the closing of this term.
Miss Millers' tomato plants were set
out in the garden, we all hope they will
be a success.
Milton Godowa joined the band last
week and is, making fast progress on his
flute. 5 .'.
The McBride girls are glad that Miss
Bowman is their matron while Mrs.
Theisz is away.
The gophers are playing peck-a-boo
in Frank Booth's garden. E. A.
A number of the school faculty were
dovvn to the dep t to see Mrs. Tiieisz off.
We hope she will enjoy her long trip.

The seventh grade girls are very proud
of the seventh grade boys who took pro
minent part in the field meet Monday
and they are proudest of all, of Calvin
Darnell who broke the school record
in pole vaulting.

Y. M. C. A. delivered a very interesting
talk last weekto the boys. E. C.
Billet Lobert made a very nice string
instrument for himself.

by the Sulem High School.
