The fifth grade B. class had a lesson

"Watch Word."
The third Grade is learning the watch

The 'girls 'of the Bible Class meet every
Monday evening. They are studying
the Life of John.
Alfred Lane, Tillie Souvigner and Gor
don Hobucket received the three highest
standing in the quarterly examination
of the 8th grade B class.
Last Saturday evening the Remnant
Club gave their entertaiment and was
enteresting to nil who wure present, es
peially the Indian War Dance. And

Mr. James Smith was a welcome visitor
in the Wight Grade school room on Tues
day aftenoon. While there he seemed
greatly absorbed ia reading the cook
book. We were wondering if he was think
ing of taking a special course in that
line of study.

The farmers took 20 fat hogs to town j

John rioyce has finished two sets of
heavy work harness while others who
have been there for the same length of 1
time have finished only one. John is a
steady worker and is learning his trade
fast. B. .
The blacksmith boys ara fixing up
there shop. They have been painting the
shop during the last, week and the black
smith boys are getting to be good pain
ters. Boys you want to look in the shop
and you will see that the shop is improv
ing every day. 1) R.
The engineers are having practice work
in the shop which is a great help to them.
Newton Bowman is a new member of
the harness shop. We all wish him suc
cess. After a short illiness Elmer Burl from
Briceland, California died Sunday even
ing. The funeral service was held Tues-
day morning by Rev. Errett of Salem. He
was buried in the school cemetery.
