Hairy Long is now working in the

The Clieinawa base-ball team will
to Salem tomorrow morning to play

(irover Colby is preparing the mate-
lial required to furnish the work of the
middle sized boys' home.
The seventh grade pupils are now
stixlving compound interest. It is difficult
but they are going to try hard.
A good many of the boys from Com
pany B. were promoted to company-A.
Company A makes a fine appearance
now.
Peter Seltice and Eugene Williams are
practicing a new performance which they
expect to give before the school.
Every morning when Mary McLeod
comes to school she has some roses. We
wonder who she gets them from?
Belle Dillstrom a new pupil, is added
to the seventh grade. We all wish her
success and also welcome her to our
class.
Sarah Pierce and Norah VanPelt were
out hoeing and weeding their gardens
this morning. They , want to win the
prize.
The second base-ball team are im
proving in their team work, since the
last game .they, played with the deaf
mutes.
George Williams is getting to be an
expert strawberry picker since he has
been picking for a farmer out in the
country.
Laura Reed is making herself a very
beautiful cream-colored diess, and it. is
almost finished. She will wear it Com
mencement. Dr. Fryer and Teddy Cluchie are be
coming great friends. Teddy is a very
bright little boy and stays in Miss Trout
man's building. . -
The 8th grade B class, ha. five girls
and nine boys making fourteen alto
gather one just above the unluckey
number, thirteen. .
Henry Dillstrom, a new pupil of Che
mawa, has entered the harness making,
department and we all wish him success.
He is very much interested in his work.
On leaving, Harry Stuart did not for
get to tell the pupils of his grade to take
good care of his onion garden which they
will do. His garden makes a fine appear
ance among the school gardens. We
would like to have Harry send an item
for the America ..
