Cbetnawa's Band
Chemawa has one of the best bands on
the Pacific Coast. Under the able leader
ship of Prof. Henry N. Stoudenmeyer it
has taken its place in the front rank.
The band is equipped with silver triple
plate instruments as follows:
Solo, 1st., 2nd., and 3rd. Cornets; Eb solo,
1st., 2nd., 3rd., and 4th, Clarionets; Piccolo;
Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Baritone Saxo
phones; 1st., 2nd and 3rd., Franch Horns;
1st. and 2nd. Tromlxmcs; Oboe; Bassoon;
Baritone; Bb Bass; Eb Bass; 2BBb Hasses;
Bass Drum; Side Drum; and Cymbals.
We have also just received the following
additional instruments: (i Bb Clarionets;
1 Eb Alto Clarionet; 1 Bb Bass Clarionet;
1 Bb Baritone. The Clarionets being of
Buffet make.
The uniforms worn by the band were
made by Chemawa's Tailors and are neat
looking and well made.

CLERICAL FORCE.
The vast amount of business to be done
by a school like Chemawa gives four em
ployes in addition to the Superintendent
and Assistant Superintendent plenty to
do. Mr. Leon A. Woodin has charge of
this part of the work, ably assisted by
Mr. Antone Caisse and Miss Florence
Hutchinson, both of whom are expert
stenographers and typewriters, and by
Mr. Charles Larsen in charge of Chem
awa's warehouses.
Industrial Workers.
Chemawa is fortunate in having one of the best
Corps of Industrial workers of any school in the
service. The following is the Industrial roster:
