INDUSTRIAL WORK.
The Administration building bad to be moved to make room for the
Boys' new brick Dormitory. This necesitated changing the electric light
ing, steam heating, water and sewer connections for the building. All
this work (and it was considerable) was done by the pupils of the school.
One of the Engineer Apprentices asked who was to do the work of making
the electric light and steam connections and when informed that they would
have to do it, replied, "That's good, it will give us more chances to learn,"
The work is now completed. The picture above shows the boys at work
getting the ditches rsa ly for the steam pipas.
