LOCAL AND INDUSTRIAL-
The wagon makers were very busy on
three sealed hacks, wbeel barrows and a
carriage the past week.
We noticed the painters at work en the
porch roof of the Girls' Home giving it a
necessary coat of paint,
Alfred Cootiskin and Manuel Robleg
were given their first lesson in cuke mak
ing this week at the bakery.
No report was received from the Non
panels this week. They will have to
"Go way back and sit down."
Albert Veacurn had the misfortune on
Wednesday to have one of his Angers
crushed by the washer at the laundry.
The carpenters have the store room at
Ihe Power House well underway and the
Electricians and steam-heaters will soon,
have a good strong room In hich to store
their supplies.
' Mr. Scotland his blacksmith bovB were
hard at work on Wednesday repairing the
plumbing nf the healer which supplier the
hospital with hot water. Mr. Honlt did a
good job and demonstrated Hint where
there's a will there's a way.
Mr. Will Laodnn came out from Hal cm
with iiis (rap drum and agisted in the
orchestra on Valentine's night, which aid
ed greatly In the improvement of the
same. Come again Mr. Landon and don't
forget the baby drum.
The Phantom party on Valentine night
was a great success, There has seldom
been a social event at the school more
thoroughly enjoyed. Miss Miller, Mr.
Cnisse and Mr. Farrow are the ones to
whom we owe our thanks for managing
this pleasant affair. The orchestra fur
nished particularly good music for the oe-
