Social Doings
Perhaps the most interesting and-
elaborate social affair of last week was
the dinner given by the senior members
of the Beta Epsilon Sorority to Pres
ident and Mrs. P. L. Campbell on
Thursday evening. The guests pres
ent were: President and Mrs. P. L.
Campbell, Professor and Mrs. Glen,
Professor and Mrs. Sweetser, Professor
and .Mrs. Dearborn, Professor Carson,
and Professor Bovard. The charming
hostesses were the Misses Fullerton,
Nelson, Golf, Hayes, Mackenzie and
Cockerline.
'I'lie Eutaxian Society had a social
gathering at the Tan Pi Sorority
house on Saturday evening, the pur
pose of the entertainment being to in
terest the freshmen and new members
in the work of the society. The girls
opened the evening with a short pro
gram, alter which they enjoyed them
selves with music and games. Tt was
in every way successful.
Another pleasant affair was that
given in honor of Walter Eaton by
Miss Lida Garrett.
Mr. Eaton is
spending a week in Eugene before he
again takes up his work in the Bohe
mia district and his old friends among
the students are trying to make the
most of his presence among them.
Those present were the Misses Alice
Stoddard, Fay Clark, Vera Sanderson,
Helen Kenny, Madge Hamble, Daryl
Belat, Celia, Hager, Hallie Sterner,
('.race Stearns, Ersa Hamble, Daryl
Laurel Inman; and Messrs. Stoddard,
Hamble, Goodall, Snodgrass, Kilpat
rick, Billie Williams, Ben Williams,
McCrady and Walter Eaton.
