The Columbia University faculty has
decided that the rules which bar stu
dents from participating in athletics
i when they are delinquent in classes,
shall not be enforced until 1910. If the
ruling were now enforced 70 per cent

Interfraternity and dormitory base
ball games are now very popular at
many of the larger colleges.
Students at Amherst college believe
that Summer baseball should be allow
ed. After two nights discussion on the
proposition by athletic managers, cap
tains and coaches two hundred and
seventy-eight voted for and sixty-five
against summer baseball.
Dartmouth College will award foot
